The Elders Council is a place of experience and wise Elders.Their function is to advise and guide the direction and purpose of the Ile.

Mother Adwoa Carr

Mother Adwoa Carr has been involved in traditional African practice and culture since 1973. She is a current board member of Ujamaa School. She was a member of the ACRS and Temple of Nyame from 1985 to 2020 where she served in many roles including her role as a member of the leadership body. Mother Adwoa, as she is known, was initiated into the rites of the Mourning Ground in May 2011 and was consecrated and installed as a "Mother" in 2019. In 2020, she received consecrated implements for Esu and Isefa also known as Hand of Ifa.
